The DHS Program Health Data Mapping course is designed to introduce elementary concepts that facilitates participants' ability to create maps related to health data.
This is a competency-based training and will
equip participants with the knowledge, skills and abilities to use procedures
and programs effectively during the Tabulation of a
Demographic and Health Survey. Key aspects of the workshop will focus on
generating and using finalization programs, processing "other” answers,
producing and adding weights, creating a recode data set, and production of
standard tables using raw and recode data. This includes all applications that
the data processing team uses for table production.
Although the attention will be directed towards a Demographic and Health
Survey, the acquired skills can also be used for other types of surveys
