This is a competency-based training and will
equip participants with the knowledge, skills and abilities to use procedures
and programs effectively during the data finalization and tabulation of a
Demographic and Health Survey. Key aspects of the workshop will focus on
generating and using finalization programs, processing "other” answers,
producing and adding weights, creating a recode data set, and production of
standard tables using raw and recode data. This includes all applications that
the data processing team uses for data finalization and table production.
Although the attention will be directed towards a Demographic and Health
Survey, the acquired skills can also be used for other types of surveys
